Terms of Service

1. The service
CareerVani generates resume content, LinkedIn posts and interview practice material from information you provide. Outputs are AI-generated suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying every output before you use it. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. No guarantees
We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, applicant-tracking-system scores, or any hiring outcome. AI models can produce inaccurate or incomplete text. Any decision you make using generated content is yours alone.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use CareerVani.
- You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping access to it secure.
- One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
4. Acceptable use
- Provide only truthful information about yourself.
- Do not attempt to bypass quotas or credit limits, probe or attack our APIs, reverse-engineer the service, or resell access.
- Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, hateful or harmful content, or anyone else's personal data without their consent.
- Do not use the service to generate content that misrepresents someone's qualifications.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refund where the breach is material.
5. Plans, billing and fair use
- Free plan: includes one AI resume and one resume upload, plus a small number of section edits, LinkedIn posts and interview sessions each day. Free PDF exports carry a watermark.
- Premium: ₹99 per month or ₹499 per six months, billed through Razorpay as a recurring subscription until you cancel. Entitlements activate only after your payment signature is verified on our servers.
- Credit packs: a one-time purchase of 25 credits for ₹49. Credits are consumed per generation and do not expire.
- Fair use: Premium includes generous per-feature daily caps that exist to keep AI costs sustainable and to prevent automated abuse. Current caps are shown on our pricing page and in the app.
- Price changes: current prices are always displayed in the app before purchase. Changes apply to future billing periods, never retroactively.
- All prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
6. Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel a Premium subscription at any time from your profile. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refund window: if you are unhappy with Premium, email us within 7 days of the charge and we will refund it, provided you have used no more than 3 generations in that billing period.
- Credit packs are refundable within 7 days only if none of the credits have been spent.
- Approved refunds are returned through Razorpay to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 working days.

7. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you provide and to the outputs generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs through our AI provider solely to deliver the service to you. We do not use your content to train models and we do not sell it.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features, models and limits may change as the product evolves. During periods of exceptional demand, generation may be temporarily throttled to protect service costs; a failed generation never consumes your quota or credits.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which removes your generations and disables sign-in. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
10. Liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, or lost employment. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
